I applied to be a Trainee Lifeguard to gain the Open Water Lifeguard (OWL) Qualification after going on the park the previous summer. The training I received on site was brilliant, in depth and even though it was a very cold few days on my initial training it was so worth it for the wonderful summer we’ve had! One working day is never the same as the next and as long as you aren’t too squeamish when it comes to cleaning the park you’ll get on fine! Working outdoors with lots of like-minded people in a big team has been fab and I’d like to think I’ve made friends for life. I enjoyed engaging with the customers and my colleagues on the park as everyone is there to have fun and it’s a great vibe to work in. The use of RotaCloud made it easy to check when I was working and to sort cover or swap shifts due to other commitments. All in all, it’s been a great experience for me!

If you are passionate about customer service and want to gain a recognised lifeguarding qualification in 2019 then we would love to hear from you.

For the summer 2019 season we will operate a 7 day a week shift system to ensure the smooth running of the Aqua Park. We have full time and part time hours available.

You will need to be confident in the water, able to complete a continuous swim of 400 metres in a pool and able to run up and down the shore line.

You will also need to be very observant. We will train you to be an Open Water Lifeguard, in return we ask that you work a minimum number of hours during the season.
